As a former employee I'm willing to help out in any lawsuit filed against NES. I witness everything that is being said here first hand. BTW, Channel 19 News in Cleveland, OH had an investigative report about NES May 14, 2008--you can look at it from their website: www.woio.com, one there go to news videos, it's titled Know Your Rights: Bill Collectors.

Someone by the name of MIKE MORGAN left several messages while I was out of town. I called back and explained that I have NO CONTACT with the person that they are attempting to reach. The man said that she is my daughter I told him that I have a son and that she is my niece. I told him to remove my number from their system and to stop calling my house, he said to take it up with my niece. I asked him what did I say that he did not understand. I asked if I needed to state it again in another language and if so it would take me some time to translate it du to the fact that I speak English only and I speak it as well as he does.

He stated that my niece used my number as a contact number and they would continue to call. I told them I had 2 numbers for him and asked him to hold on. I gave him my attorneys number and my local police departments number. I said to call them and if he or anyone else from his office called my home again that I would sue. He then stated that my number would be removed!!!

I have been dealing with NES for the past week. At first the woman was somewhat kind, understanding a very willing to work with me. She made is sound as if she was an attorney, "because a complaint had been filed against me". I have been VERY willing to work with this company and I have returned every phone call promptly. However, as the days have gone on they have become increasingly more nasty.

Today, in fact, was the worst. The woman that I have been dealing with transfered me over to one of her coworkers, a man. As our conversation proceeded he became increasingly nasty and would not listen to anything I had to say. He kept raising his voice and completely talking over me. He told me that I needed to make a decision with the settlement right then and there or else the settlement would be dropped and I would be sued and have to go to court to pay the full amount. I told the man that I would need to call the person who is loaning me the money before I made any decision. I told the man that I needed to make sure the money would be in my account before I agreed. He then became very harsh and told me that I needed to make the decision now. He told me that I needed to stop "passing the buck and start acting like a responsible adult". He told me that he would take my checking account number and if the funds are not in there by the 15th of this month that I would be charged with a faulty check as well as taken to court to be sued for the full amount I owe. He then began to yell at me calling me a failure and that I will more than likely fail at everything I do, so why not add this failure to my list. He told me that I will never be able to get a job with my bad credit history and that if he were an employer he would throw my application right in the trash because all I am is a failure. He then said if I hang up with him to make my phone call that the settlement is off and I will be taken to court. So, he left me really with no choice but to give him my checking account information. I am now just hoping and praying that I will have the funds in there to cover the settlement by May 15th.

They called me, saying that they've sent letters; I asked them to send a copy of the debt and they said they didn't have to. They told me that I had to pay today or the Sheriff would be on my doorstep to repossess my car tomorrow; funny, Sears didn't finance my car. They also told me that they would call my fiance's work and demand to speak to him to try to collect the money. According to the Fair debt collection practices act, this is illegal. File the suit. I'm in.

By law, they are required to send you a written notice within five days of

their initial phone contact. You then have thirty days to dispute the

validity of that debt. Wait for their written notice, then send them a

dispute validation notice making demand for all documentation that validates

their claim. Warn them to cease all collection activity until they have

complied. That will stop all collection activity until they comply.

I have been dealing with them as well. I got one letter from them and it was maybe a week later they started calling me at work. She said they had left me numerous messages. Funny they haven't. And if they did they didn't say who they were. And I told her all I could do is $50 a month. They called again at work and some guy interpruted me and "Jordan" and started yelling at me. And then told me that my grandfather had the money on a credit card to pay the debt off. Funny my grandfather isn't even a co-signer so how did they get his info. HMMMM I would say illegal. My boss got on the phone and told them to stop calling and he was yelling at her. They called back 2 days later and she asked what I was going to do I said $50 a month. She said good luck. They said they were going to file a lawsuit. I have yet to hear anything about that. Want to know more my email is

They call me daily at work, leaving nasty messages each time. Today, they called without identifying where they were calling from, and said they were calling to confirm my appointment with some ficticious person. Not a very smart lie as I have caller ID at work, and I know their phone # by heart.

They also called me, misrepresenting themselves as attorneys with threats of a lawsuit. How do they think they can get away with this?

I have been constantly harassed at my place of employment. They even talked to the office manager at my work about my debt. I have recieved at least 2 calls a day at work and told them not to call me at work, yet the harrasment continues.
